Former physician Guy Langley Peeples, 65, faced a rape charge after allegedly assaulting a 70-year-old patient inside her hospital room at Baptist Health Medical Center–Conway. The alleged assault occurred on November 10, 2025, and was witnessed by a hospital virtual sitter monitoring the patient through a live video feed. Peeples was terminated from the hospital on November 11, 2025. Then in February 2026, he was charged with rape of a second patient who was 38 years old. She underwent an appendectomy.
