If you have been sexually abused
by a doctor or another medical professional, you are not alone.
A number of patients have been sexually abused by doctors or other
medical professionals. It is underreported because many victims
are afraid to speak up because they feel intimidated or they believe
that no one will believe them.
If you have been abused by a doctor,
please see ways you can report the sexual
misconduct. You also should check out your state
medical board and file a complaint with them.
We have provided some links to doctors
who have gotten in trouble for sexual
misconduct in the news, but please keep in mind that newspaper
articles do make mistakes sometimes and that some doctors have been
falsely accused. You will have to do your own research on each doctor
based on the third party sources (newspapers, news, etc.) and make
your personal conclusions.
